Torge Wolters studied Political Science and Sinology at the University of Freiburg, Germany and the Peking University, PR China.
After working for the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre in South Africa, the German Information Centre of the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., as well as the German Academic Exchange Service’s Beijing Office, he joined the GIZ Consumer Protection and Product Safety Programme in 2012.
Since 2014, he is responsible for the implementation of activities in the areas of trade policy, market surveillance and product safety in the Quality Infrastructure Project.
